Here’s a great interview about Campie by reporter Brenda Anderson for the Langley Times. We spoke about some of the events that led to the camp job up North and what my plans are now. Brenda was insightful and fun to talk with about northern winter roads – she’s originally from Dawson Creek. We laughed about how my original plan to write a book on spiritual retreats contributed to my bankruptcy that added to my depression that eventually sent me North, homeless and unemployed. I wanted to sip tea, gaze at the sky, and think soulful thoughts. Instead, I got handed a bucket and a mop. And something worth writing about.
